CSLB C-36 · A person on the line around the clock

San Fernando Valley
plumbing help, day or night.

We are based in Canoga Park, at the west end of the San Fernando Valley, and a real person picks up our phone at midnight, on Sundays and on holidays. The plumber finds the cause before talking price: a washer hose split behind a Winnetka laundry closet, roots in the sewer lateral under a Granada Hills street, a water heater thick with scale in a Northridge garage. Work waits until you have read and signed a written estimate, whichever of the 88 cities in Los Angeles County you call from.

Plumbing repairs for San Fernando Valley homes and businesses

About 57 percent of the housing on the Valley side of Los Angeles was built between 1950 and 1979, so most calls are about aging supply pipe, water heaters near the end of their life and sewer laterals that roots have found. The old Owensmouth streets of Canoga Park are older still, and the businesses in and around Warner Center have plumbing of their own to keep running. The C-36 license covers all of it, and nothing begins before you sign off on the estimate in writing.

Why the Valley calls us

Based in Canoga Park.
Every price on paper.

We are a C-36 Plumbing contractor on the Valley side of Los Angeles, where about 69 percent of the homes were built before 1980 and the median house dates from the late 1960s. In 2025 the three LADWP sources that feed the Valley measured between 6.0 and 8.2 grains per gallon of hardness, enough to build scale in heaters and valves over the years. The plumber tests before cutting anything, you approve the price in writing, and a written workmanship warranty covers each finished repair.

Where we work

The San Fernando Valley and the rest of the county

Calls are handled from Canoga Park, and from there we cover the Valley neighborhoods of Los Angeles, from West Hills and Chatsworth across to North Hollywood and Sylmar, plus Hidden Hills, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Malibu, Santa Clarita and the rest of the 88 cities of Los Angeles County. Distances in a county this big vary a great deal, so timing is something we settle with you on the call, never a number printed on this page.

Coverage map

Los Angeles County, one city at a time

All 88 cities of Los Angeles County are drawn here. Seven of them have a page of their own that covers the water supplier, the permit desk and the age of the local housing: pick Los Angeles, Hidden Hills, Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Westlake Village, Malibu or Santa Clarita to open it. The paler shapes get the same 24-hour emergency response without a page, all of it sent out from our base in Canoga Park.

Los Angeles County map showing all 88 cities we serveEvery one of the 88 cities is drawn as a separate shape. A darker shape opens our page for that city; a paler one gets the same service with no page, and the full list of cities sits under the map. Avalon and the rest of Santa Catalina Island appear in the dashed frame at the lower left, moved nearer the coast than they really lie.

Not only emergencies

ADUs, remodels, sewer cameras and calls after dark

Plumbing for a backyard unit behind a ranch house, a kitchen or bath opened down to the framing, a camera pushed through a postwar sewer lateral, and the leak that waits for nightfall.

  • ADUs and Garage Conversions

A detached unit behind a Reseda ranch house, or a two-car garage turned into living space in Woodland Hills. We plumb it from the sewer tie-in and the drains set ahead of the slab pour to the last fixture. On the Valley side of Los Angeles the permit comes from LADBS, and anywhere else from the city that holds the lot, and we close it at final inspection.

  • Kitchen and Bathroom Remodels

Open walls are the time to replace tired supply pipe, move a drain or add shutoff valves, in PEX or copper, on your contractor's calendar. Behind the gates of Hidden Hills the community association has its own architectural rules, and most Westlake Village neighborhoods carry CC&Rs, so we confirm what is allowed before any wall comes down.

  • Sewer Camera Inspection

Before you buy a 1950s house in Canoga Park, Reseda or Northridge, send a camera down its sewer lateral. The City of Los Angeles leaves that pipe to the owner from the property line out to the main, roots under the street included. The screen shows whether you are taking on one bad joint or a whole line that needs replacing.

  • Nights, Weekends and Holidays

A braided hose under the sink lets go at 2 a.m., sewage rises in the tub of a ground-floor unit, the tank in the garage starts leaking on Thanksgiving morning. Call as soon as you see it. Once the water is off, we tell you honestly whether a plumber should come tonight or the repair can safely wait for daylight.

How a job runs

The four steps from your first call to a finished job

  1. 1

    Call or send the form

Phone us or use the form on this site. Noon, midnight or a holiday, a person picks up and asks what you see and hear.

  2. 2

    Choose when

You choose the visit time. If water is still getting where it should not, we treat the visit as an emergency.

  3. 3

    Price on paper

The plumber finds the cause and writes down the price. Nothing gets cut open or replaced before your signature is on it.

  4. 4

    Tested and cleaned up

Before the plumber leaves, you watch the repair work. The area gets cleaned, and the old parts go with us.

Somebody answers this phone every hour of every day.

Start by closing the main water valve. In many houses it sits where the supply pipe comes into the building, and there is another at the meter box near the curb. With the water off, phone us and keep the call going: we walk you through what comes next while a plumber sets out from Canoga Park.
